Употребление модальных глаголов will и would для описания привычных действий
1)
а) При описании привычек, характерного поведения, событий, которые имеют место всегда или обычно имели место в прошлом, используются модальные глаголы will и would. Глагол will используется для описания привычек в настоящем, would — для описания привычек в прошлом.

Sara is crazy about her dog. She will play with him for hours — Сара помешана на своей собаке. Она играет с ней часами (обычно она играет с ней часами).

The cat will curl up by the fire and stay there all evening — Кошка обычно свернется клубком у огня и лежит там весь вечер.

He'll sit on his chair and won't talk to anyone — Он всегда сидит на своем стуле и ни с кем не разговаривает.

My grandfather would sit in his rocking chair for hours, smoking his pipe — Мой дед часто сидел в кресле-качалке часами, покуривая трубку.

б) В разговорной речи ударение на глаголах will и would выражает недовольство говорящего по отношению к описываемой привычке или поведению.

She WILL tell lies even when there is no need — Она всегда лжет, даже если в этом нет необходимости (ударение на слове will выражает негодование говорящего по поводу описываемой привычки).

He WOULD say bad things about people — Он всегда говорил о людях плохо.
